Not really, except as they've come up in passing. I prefer to seek my own enlightenment in fiction. ;)
Part of the reason I vent is so that I'm not driven to act more often. Those momentary bursts of steam are usually enough to get me past the need to throttle some sense into people. (How centered is that?)
I have learned the futility of arguing with religious fanatics. They embrace unthinking dogma to give themselves a sense of identity, and thinking is not welcome. If they question, then that first card in their house of cards tends to wobble.
Note that 'religious' is the optional word there - it applies to all fanatics. I am religious, but the God I believe in doesn't mind questions, and doesn't seek to rule with fear or want unquestioning obedience, and doesn't appreciate hate and self-glorification in the guise of enlightenment.
If you can live your life and achieve that island of inner peace ... the seagulls squawking and wheeling in the air just add to the scenery. ;)
