But seriously: I disagree about the casting of those 'in hiding' (a term I don't especially like) as victims. They have made a choice and I directly acknowledge and accept that.
The whole victim line of argument is aimed at dispelling the myth that no choices have been made. I tried quite hard to avoid casting any particular choice as right or wrong - it is more an argument that, whatever method someone uses to deal with their situation, is a conscious choice.
